Travel anywhere through the Grampians Region during Spring time and you will are bound to see hundreds of Guinea Flowers, flowering.

Considered to be uncommon where this specimen was photographed in the Grampians Region of Victoria, the Salmon Sun Orchid is a common sight in other parts of Southern Australia

Thelymitra ixioides, or Dotted Sun Orchid, isn’t all that uncommon in the Grampians Region of Victoria, an area renown for its spring wildflower variety.

This time however I decided to shoot and image for stock of the pale, fragile white flower on top of the small sundew plant.

We found this lone pale pink coloured Sturt’s Desert Pea, or Swainsonia formosa growing in the wonderful Living Desert Flora and Fauna Reserve near Broken Hill, in Western NSW, Australia.
